Exactly as expected

Easy, and fast reloading for my CVA Scout. Personally I find it more convenient and much quicker to use the Beartooth Sidecart than a butt stock loop configuration. Especially when hunting and a second shot might by necessary.

Ruger No.1 fit

Rapid receipt of SIDECART. Fits my Ruger well. Bought it for the field but have only been to the range and it looks good and feels like it is in a good position.

Side Cart Rifle Model

I bought the item for a hunt this Fall and I'm going to function test it this Spring at the range. It should do what I wanted; to make a ready reload on the T/C Encore I use to hunt with . Thanks for a good product.

Good, but may be slow for very large calibers

The neoprene holds firmly to the rifle and doesn’t shift under recoil, however this same stickiness may be a problem with very large diameter rounds. While smaller caliber cases fit snugly yet remove easily, larger cases like .45-70 are held so tightly that they are difficult if not impossible to slip out of the carrier with one hand. A neoprene body with elastic cartridge straps would be more appropriate for magnum calibers. Should be fine for .30-06/.270/.308 and smaller cases. May be OK for .410 plastic shells. I purchased for a single shot large bore rifle, but will instead have to use it on a .30-30 or something similar.
